This new body of work holds space — for myself as the artist and for the viewer — to meet the layered, nuanced, and often uncomfortable aspects of being human. Through vibrant contrasting colours that play off each other, I explore themes of sadness, anger, healing, and transformation. My creative process is deeply influenced by my personal healing journey and the teachings I received through a trauma-informed breathwork practice. I aim to make visible what is often held silently within, inviting a shared reflection on the beauty and difficulty of navigating life with wounds that are still in motion.

Thread plays a central role in my work, symbolizing a fascia-like network — an invisible yet essential structure within the body that I interpret as a holder of memory and emotion. This woven element speaks to the ways in which we carry pain, and how that pain is also interlaced with potential for release and growth. My intention is to gently illuminate these inner landscapes, creating a visual language that encourages connection, presence, and compassion for the ongoing human experience.
